Welcome, bienvenido, bienvenue, witaj, wilkommen, croseo!

Hello! I'm Jem, I'm a part time bear and a full time storyteller. I was raised by the bears that live in Whitby Park in my home town of Ellesmere Port, and still speak fluent bear - Grr, grr, rr, g, rrr (that means 'hello, how are you?').

I've started this site because I want a place where I can keep all my upcoming events, my book reviews and reading recommendations together, as well as sharing the latest literary news.

Right now I'm planning for The Summer Reading Challenge 2021, and this year's theme is Wild World Heroes! You can find me in Ellesmere Port library over the summer holidays, Saturday mornings from 11am, where I'll be reading stories all about the Wild World and sharing some arts and crafts, too.
